Disclosure Policy

The purpose of Walking in Eden is to teach, inspire and encourage you to seek, find and abide in the Lord. He has called me to write – regardless of income or compensation. However, it is also my dream and my goal to be able to work from home, honoring my calling as wife and mother in the best way I am able for our family. I believe earning an income from writing is part of that dream, and part of God’s plan for our family.

Also, running a blog is not free. There are many costs associated with it, including hosting and legal requirements. While the purpose of this site is not to “sell” you products, I may offer printables, books or other digital or physical things I write or create for sale in my store. I will use affiliate links when they are available to link you to products or services I have found useful or enjoyable. These will earn me a small commission each time a reader clicks through my link to make a purchase. I may at some point use paid advertising in my sidebar, if and when it fits with my platform and values. I may also in the future accept opportunities to write underwritten posts, giveaways, or series. Again, these will fit with my message, God’s Word, and what I believe will be beneficial to you, my reader.

However, I will always place my obedience to God, my integrity and your welfare before any earnings. If it doesn’t line us with God’s Word, and benefit you, I won’t post it, regardless of how much it might pay.

If you ever have questions or concerns, please drop email me at walkinginedenblog@gmail.com. I won’t please all people all of the time, nor will everyone always agree with everything I say or everything I offer. But the Bible says “Strive for peace with everyone, and for the holiness without which no one will see the Lord.” (Hebrews 12:14) So I welcome your input and constructive criticism.
